Ryley Walker makes music from a time long gone that we're definitely happy to hear again. With "Primrose Green," the Chicago singer-songwriter brings us back to the times of Americana folk in the '60s, when music truly painted pictures. In a short little music video for the song, we get to experience some great imagery with the young singer. Check it out below!

RIYL: CSNY, Tim Buckley, Ryan Adams

Das Racist's former member Himanshu Suri this week released a great new taste of his upcoming solo project, Heems. The debut album Eat, Prey, Thug drops on March 10, 2015, and this week the first single, "Sometimes," premiered. Listen to this great new hip-hop track right here!

RIYL: Danny Brown, Das Racist

Bringing the vibe back down, Iron & Wine, AKA Sam Beam, this week released "Everyone's Summer of '95," which is part of an archival release coming out next month entitled Archive Series Volume No. 1. This new collection of old songs is described as music that Beam only played for his family. I guess he welcomes his fans into his family this year! Take a listen to this track below!

RIYL: Simon & Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen

There's honestly nothing like a new Belle & Sebastian song. We know we'll get a great new story to think about and maybe something to even tap our toes to as well. That's exactly what this week's "The Cat with Cream" is. Though it isn't an upbeat dance number, this somber track isn't going to ruin your day - it'll probably make it better though!

RIYL: Jens Lekman

This week Nick Cave decided to re-record his cover of Leonard Cohen's "Avalanche." Take a list right here! Plus, Spoon might've released a huge album in 2014 (They Want My Soul), but they've already started on new material, according to a recent concert video. Check out the band performing "Satellite" right here!

This week we were treated to the title track off of Chastity Belt's upcoming sophomore album Time to Go Home. "The track is an angsty, bumping rocker with a very nostalgic feel to it. Check it out right here!

RIYL: The Vivian Girls, Warpaint

Murder By Death returned this week with the new song "Send Me Home" - an Americana influenced ballad that is sure to have tears welling up in your eyes. Fading love, lament and more soar through this song, surely affecting every listener. Check it out below!

RIYL: The Hold Steady, Deer Tick, Bruce Springsteen

The Staves are going to prove in 2015 that another band of sisters can make a huge impact on the music world. This week's track "Steady" is full of harmonies, rounds and trading vocals - exactly what we'd want from a group of sister singers. Check it out right here!

RIYL: Eisley, First Aid Kit, Azure Ray

Adventures is simply a treat. This indie-punk outfit has managed to establish its own style in a genre oversaturated with the same formula. This week's "Your Sweetness" is a great taste of what the future holds for this promising band.

RIYL: Into It Over It, Speedy Ortiz, Pity Sex

This mixtape will help you deal with the cold weather taking over the nation this week. Stay warm and stay up-to-date on the new music out there!
