Bobby Shmurda's previously reported bail has been withdrawn, and the rapper will remain in jail for the time being. Last Friday, a $2 bail package application was posted for Shmurda (born Ackquille Pollard), by bondsman to the stars Ira Judelson, but now, according to The New York Times, the arrangement has been put on hold.

"It's our understanding that the suretor has withdrawn and that no hearing is currently scheduled," said Kati Cornell, a spokeswoman for the office of the special narcotics prosecutor for New York City.

Pollard's new lawyer Kenneth Montgomery confirmed to the New York Times that the bail arrangement, which was backed by the rapper's "management associates" has been put on hold.

"We're trying to do a new bond application and are in the process in the figuring that out," Montgomery explained. "We're hoping to get it done within the next week."

Pollard, his fellow Epic Records signee Rowdy Rebel and the other members of his GS9 crew all plead not guilty to all charges last week in a Manhattan Supreme Court hearing, which lasted more than three hours.

At least 50 people, including Epic Records reps and family members, were present during the proceedings. One by one, each defendant sat before Judge James Burke and plead not guilty. Their lawyers' petitions for reduced bail were denied.

The next hearing is scheduled for April 22.

Pollard and his GS9 crew were indicted on Dec. 18, after being arrested outside Quad Studios in Manhattan the night before. The initial indictment included 69 charges including murder, attempted murder, assault, attempted assault, weapons possession, criminal use of a firearm, reckless endangerment, narcotics sales, and criminally using drug paraphernalia. The State later brought an additional 32 charges to the original indictment, bringing the total number to 101. If convicted, Pollard could face 25 years in jail.
