One of the main criticisms of a rapper like will.i.am, Pitbull or Iggy Azalea is that they're lyrics are too shallow and repetitive. And, well, those haters wouldn't exactly be wrong. In a new statistical study of some of hip-hop's biggest names, it's been revealed that the likes of the Black Eyed Peas frontman, the Grammy-nominated Azalea and even Kanye West are some of the most repetitive rappers out there.

In a study by RapAnalysis.com, will.i.am was the biggest offender of using the same words over and over again. With hits like "Scream & Shout" and "#THATPOWER," over 44 songs, will.i.am used a mere 18,328 total words, notching him as the biggest offender of lyrical sameness. Pitbull is also a big offender. Mr. 305 logs at No. 2 with Pitbull, with 23,708 words over 95 songs.

Other major rap offenders include some of the biggest names in the game, with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea all claiming spots in the top 20.

The poppy leanings of these artists is not lost on the data collecters. Minaj did write "Stupid Hoe," after all.

Other rappers on the list include: Chief Keef, Kid Cudi, Jeezy, Future, Trinidad James and Gucci Mane. Check out the full list of rappers at the source.
