Internet personality Charleston White is revisiting his viral confrontation with rapper Young Thug, shedding new light on the incident during a recent interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV.

As per HotNewHipHop, the confrontation, which reportedly took place in Florida earlier this year during a reunion event connected to comedian Druski's "Coulda Been Love" series, quickly spread across social media after videos surfaced showing tension between White and members of Young Thug's entourage.

Speaking during the interview, White claimed he was initially confused about why tensions escalated between the two men, noting that he and Young Thug had previously worked together on community outreach efforts in Atlanta while the rapper was incarcerated. White also recalled participating in a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway tied to the rapper's charitable initiatives.

According to White, the situation worsened because of his association with Woody, a YSL affiliate and witness connected to the high-profile YSL RICO case. White said his friendship with Woody angered some people in Atlanta and may have contributed to the hostility.

"Atlanta was mad at me for messing with Woody," White said during the interview, adding that comments he made about rapper Gunna also appeared to upset Young Thug.

White said the confrontation became more serious once he arrived at the Florida reunion event. He alleged that members of Young Thug's entourage approached him and that the rapper made intimidating remarks during the exchange.

White claimed he reached for mace during the incident because he feared the situation could escalate physically. He also alleged someone nearby pretended to have a firearm while warning him not to lose your life in here.

Despite the tense exchange, White admitted during the interview that he partly leaned into the controversy for online attention. He acknowledged speaking with police after the incident and discussing the possibility of filing charges, though he suggested some of his reaction was exaggerated for content.

Young Thug has not publicly responded to White's latest claims.

Recently, ANF said that Thug's widely publicized YSL RICO case returned to the spotlight after Judge Paige Reese Whitaker lost her reelection bid in Georgia's primary election to Nikia Smith Sellers, a prosecutor from Fani Willis' office.

Whitaker took over the rapper's case after the original judge was removed during the lengthy proceedings. Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Williams, was accused by prosecutors of leading the alleged YSL gang, though his legal team argued YSL was a legitimate music label.

In 2024, the rapper accepted a plea deal involving gang, gun and drug charges, resulting in his release after time already served.
