Festival season is generally associated with summer, but good times roll all year round. Even in the winter, the United States still has some festivals going and SnowGlobe is one of the biggest. Situated on the picturesque southern edge of Lake Tahoe in the skiing resort town of South Lake Tahoe, SnowGlobe is a three-day electronic music festival that runs during the final three days of December through to the ball drop into the New Year. The snowy festival has released its 2014 recap, which includes cameos from some of the main headlining acts like Flume, Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Flux Pavillion, Big Gigantic and others.

The video is soundtracked by What So Not & RL Grime's "Tell Me" and Odesza's "Say My Name." There are plenty of live shots with pyrotechnics, lasers and camera pans to smiling faces and big LED screens, but that is not all. Since the festival is in a ski town, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the area surrounding area and everything it has to offer. It is like a ski lodge trip on steroids.

Flume shared the recap of his time as one of the artists who ushered in the New Year and SnowGlobe thought it was time to complete the picture with the full video roundup.

15,000 people attended in 2014 to see the 50 plus artists over three days.

Early bird tickets for 2015 have sold out already, but regular general admission passes will go on sale in September, so be ready for when those become available. Head to SnowGlobe's website for more information. Watch the recap below via SnowGlobe.
