The Skrillex media takeover is going global. Earlier today, before a set at New Zealand music festival, "What's On," that featured performances from Steve Aoki, MK, What So Not and others, Skrillex stopped in with radio and live DJ Dan Aux on George FM to talk about music and play a surprise set on air. During that set, he felt it was no better time, since he was down under, to premiere his long-awaited collaboration with What So Not (Flume & Emoh Instead), featuring the vocals of Kristy Lee Peters, known professionally as KLP, titled "Goh." KLP was the vocalist on What So Not's track "Jaguar" that was released via Skrillex's OWSLA Records (via Run The Trap).

Skrillex notes that the track is not finished and they still have some time to iron out a few last ideas, but from we can hear in this radio rip, things are coming together very nicely between these two. A picture first emerged of Skrillex and What So Not in the studio last winter, but the chatter went silent after that. Now we can hear what they have been working on (via This Song Is Sick).

What So Not is the collaborative effort between Australian breakout producer / DJ star Flume and Emoh Instead. Emoh Instead is the touring arm of the group, while Flume tours on his own since he is in such high demand, and they both contribute to their productions.

Skrillex has been doing the rounds on various media stations over the past few weeks. He has been primarily working the airwaves alongside his new partner in crime, Diplo, as part of the Jack U takeover in the lead-up to their Madison Square Garden gig on New Years eve flanked by ASAP Ferg, Rudimental, Yellow Claw and some very special guests.

Skrillex and What So Not will both be joining the Stereosonic Australia tour, so it might give them time to finally finish this collab and get it out to the world. Listen to the full interview and set below and the radio rip as well.
