Angie Miller released the teaser for her upcoming song, 'Put It On Me,' to YouTube late on July 16, and fans received it excitedly.
Contrary to many of her silly 'sneak peaks' in the past, via Instagram, this teaser is a solid preview of her new song. It features a background photo and about a minute of musical content. It begins with some interesting guitar stylings, which lead up to the entrance of Miller's vocals.
The Teaser released some new lyrics to the song, in addition to the lyrics that she has already shared with her fans via Twitter. Miller sings, "Fake smile, won't hide, the spark, that has left your eyes/ The tears, you don't cry, just break you down from the inside/ You say you're tough and you're strong enough, but it's okay to let me in, I wanna help you out/ Ooh, I wanna help you out/ You need someone, you're coming undone, undone, but your pain doesn't scare me, no/ The weight's too much, so give it all up, all up, you can put it on me/ Don't carry that weight, don't carry that weight, alone, you can put it on me now/ Don't carry that weight, don't carry that weight, alone, you can put it on me."
The teaser was endorsed by Red Decibel Music Group and 19 Management. Fans responded excitedly to the new release. Miller has been sharing her excitement concerning all of the new music that she has been writing with her fans (#Dreamers) on her Twitter account for weeks now. Her next album will be highly anticipated and received excitedly by fans who have been following her throughout her songwriting journey.
So far, Miller has collaborated with artist such as Toby Gad, Autumn Rowe, Adam Watts, Gannin Arnold and Andy Dodd on some of her new songs. She has kept very busy writing music whenever she was not rehearsing for her upcoming 'American Idol Tour,' which begins July 19.
In addition to getting her fans excited about her upcoming song, 'Put It On Me,' Miller also released lyrics to another song she has been working on, 'Shatter,' via Twitter back in June. Those lyrics read, "It's my passion I believe in, tell me you can hear it, I want you to need it... It's time to break the glass and all that holds me back is gonna shatter!"
Miller is constantly updating her fans on the writing process, rehearsals for the tour and other aspects of her life on social media. This allows her to be able to share her journey with her fans in a unique way.

The new song is reminiscent of David Guetta and Sia's 'Titanium,' a song that Miller performed alongside Adam Lambert during her time spent performing on Season 12 of American Idol. Some of her fans noted similarities between her new song and 'Titanium' as well. In addition, the verses kind of resemble the style of the verses in Demi Lovato's, 'Give Your Heart A Break.'
