iLoveMakonnen: Grammy nomination
The track features another catchy vocal hook, which is a calling card of Makonnen and a wonky production that gives the floor to the singer with his verses.
"We finally ended up in the same place at the same time, booked a room at Daddy's House in NYC, and voilà," Carnage tells BuzzFeed Music. "Everything came together in under an hour."
"I've been a fan of Makonnen's since stumbling upon his classic early YouTube videos. He has a natural knack for melody, it just took a while for people to catch up to him."
Carnage has an album coming at some point soon and this might be a part of that LP.
