Florence + The Machine shared a video for their new single "Ship to Wreck" recently. The clip, which stars vocalist Florence Welch, illustrates the lyrics of an internal struggle as a relationship hits its boiling point. The single is the band's newest from the upcoming How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful release.

Welch is waking up from what looks to be a rough evening in the video below as the tune kicks off.

"Don't touch the sleeping pills / They mess with my head," she sings as she gets off the ground.

The singer battles herself and a lover for the entire video until she falls to the ground again, starting the whole unhealthy cycle over again.

During her chat with Zane Lowe earlier this year, Welch revealed that she went through a trying period following the success of 2011's Ceremonials, but she was able turn some of the turmoil into music.

"Ceremonials and Lungs all blurred together, we didn't take any time off," she said about her first two albums. "It was a decision to have a year off."

Welch admitted to having "a bit of a nervous breakdown ... It was a bit of a crash landing in a sense ... In the year off, I was still going out and going to events but something wasn't quite right, I was spiralling a bit. I wasn't making myself happy. I wasn't stable."

"It was a really vulnerable time for me when we first started making the record and because of that it's the most personal record I've ever made," she added.

How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful is due out June 2. Along with "Ship to Wreck," it will feature singles like "What Kind of Man" and "St. Jude." Fans can pre-order the standard and deluxe versions from the band's website.
