We have bad news for Coachella attendees who were hoping to see Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade, up close and personal this weekend. It was announced yesterday that the "Never Sleep Alone" DJ was going to play a "surprise" Redux set at the Do Lab stage, which is known for its smaller setup and more relaxed vibe. Hours after the announcement and seeing the amount of hype that the surrounded the news, Do Lab decided to cancel Kaskade's set over fears that the stage would not be able to handle the influx of people.

Kaskade explained the decision on Twitter, noting that he drew one of the largest audiences in Coachella history during his Sunday night set and probably wouldn't be able to keep the small room ethos of Redux at the festival.

Kaskade probably remembers when he was struggling to get people to his shows and some of them were possibly called off due to poor ticket sales. Now he is so popular that he has to call off shows but for the opposite reason - too many people would show up it is a hazard. That is a moment you know you made it in the music industry.
