April seems to have been a pretty rough month for some of reality television's biggest names with Bravo's Kim Richards really leading the way. Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have watched as Richards spent the season acting erratically while insisting that she has remained clean and sober for the last three years. The lies came to a screeching halt about two weeks ago when Richards was arrested in Beverly Hills for trespass, battery of a police officer, resisting arrest and public drunkenness. Rather than high-tailing it to rehab, Richards instead sat for an interview with Dr. Phil and tweaked when she realized that it was actually an intervention.

Various news outlets are now reporting that Richards has indeed checked into a facility to get herself cleaned up again. TMZ was the first to report the news, saying that, "Kim is in a live-in facility in Malibu which specializes in substance abuse." According to the report, Kim made the decision to check into rehab after discussing it with her family, and will stay at the facility for as long as she needs to.

What ultimately made the reality star have a change of heart? We're hearing that it's not because Richards truly believes that she has a problem. What she does have is Bravo threatening to fire her if she doesn't get help. Having gone to rehab will probably make her look a lot better once she eventually is standing in front of a judge, answering to the string of Beverly Hills charges too.

Do you think that Richards will actually be receptive to getting the help that everyone around her seems to believe that she needs? Or is this stint simply for show, meaning that she's likely to be released in a few weeks looking for a fix? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
