Uh-oh. Time to break out that #CamilaDefenseSquad. After weeks of rumors that Austin Mahone and "Shower" singer Becky G are dating, yesterday (April 30) the teen heartthrob confirmed the rumors and Fifth Harmony fans of Camila Cabello are not happy with his wording.
In a video interview with MTV News (which has since been taken down), Mahone confirmed that he and G are, in fact, an item. But, after he called her his "first real girlfriend," Harmonizers got upset.
"Yeah, you could say we're dating. We're dating," Mahone said (via RyanSeacrest.com). "It's crazy, I never had, like, a real relationship before, so it's pretty crazy. It's great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other, we understand what we do."
Only thing is... G may not actually be Mahone's first beau. Last year, he was connected to 5H singer Cabello. The two split in November 2014, but this is still some major shade!
Of course, Harmonizers reacted in kind, supporting Cabello by trending #CamilaDefenseSquad on YouTube.

On her own part, Cabello hasn't responded exactly, though she has a vague tweet that is maybe not so vague in light of the situation.
