It's hard to believe that Teresa Giudice has already been in prison for nearly 4 months. It seems like every other day there is a new story swirling in the media about her marriage to Joe Giudice, their finances and their family feuds. In the midst of all of this, we actually haven't heard directly from Giudice since before last Christmas, but many speculate on just about everything. Giudice's attorney, James J. Leonard, decided to clear up some inaccuracies this week while also confirming what we have all expected, Giudice is quite likely to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

"Anyone who has watched that show since the very first episode understands that Teresa Giudice is the central figure around which the show revolves. That's not to take anything away from any of the other women, but Teresa has been the focal point for the last six seasons, and I don't expect that to change moving forward, assuming both sides can agree on a contract," explained Leonard in an exclusive interview with People.

He also claims that, in spite of various news reports, Giudice is not contemplating divorce right now. In fact it's just the opposite because this crisis has supposedly brought her even closer to Joe. There was also a rumor that Joe bungled any hope of his wife being granted an early release. Leonard says that is completely false and that while his client will remain in the prison system through February 2016, she will be released on Dec. 23. That means that she will be home in time for Christmas with her kids.

Are you surprised to hear that Giudice is planning on returning to Bravo's RHONJ? Or do you think that bringing her back after spending nearly a full year in jail actually would make a lot of sense as far as storyline goes? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
