Audio Adreneline released the music video for their song, 'Believer,' off their most recent album, 'Kings & Queens,' earlier today, July 23. The new music video features Derek Rabelo, a blind surfer from Brazil who be appearing in new film entitled, 'Beyond Sight,' which will release to theaters on March 14, 2014.

The music video shows Derek teaching and inspiring a young boy to overcome his fear and learn how to surf. It also features footage of a waterside performance by the Audio Adrenaline band members as they play their song, 'Believer'.

Audio Adrenaline wrote the song, 'Believer,' specifically with the upcoming film in mind, and the songs emphasizes the idea of being fearless in faith, beyond the limitations of sight. The video is unique in that it emphasizes the importance of the auditory sense for someone who is blind, like Derek, by muffling the music when his head goes underneath the water. In this way, the video takes on kind of a realistic element and gives the viewer a feeling of personal connection with Derek.

'Beyond Sight' is an inspirational movie that is currently in the production stage. It was financially supported through the Kickstarter program, through which $89,075 were raised in just 30 days, back in December, 2012. It is being produced through 'Walking On Water Films,' a successful non-profit production organization that has created similar films such as the 2007 documentary, 'Heart of a Soul Surfer,' the Bethany Hamilton story.

The film documents the inspirational story behind Derek's drive to become a professional surfer. Before he was born, Derek's father prayed that he would become a professional surfer one day, but his dreams seems shattered when his son was born blind. However, at age 17, Derek decided that he wanted to surf and would not let his blindness stand in his way. Encouraged by his parents, best friend and coach, Derek underwent three years of vigorous mental, physical and spiritual training to prepare himself for his dream of someday surfing Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu.

Through his faith and perseverance, Derek was able to inspire some of the best pro-surfers in the world. Some of these surfers will be featured in the film, including, Kelly Slater, Damien Hobgood, Rob Machado, Lakey Peterson, Taj Burrow, Laird Hamilton, Tom Curren, Bethany Hamilton, Mike Stewart and Joel Parkinson. 'Beyond Sight' will feature Derek conquering multiple surf spots around the world alongside some of the biggest pros in surfing. Together, they hit surf spots including Malibu and the Lowers Hurley Pro in California and Spirit de Santos, Derek's hometown in Brazil, among other locations.

The film will give the audience some insight into the difficulties that Derek had to face in the journey toward learning how to surf blind. It will capture the amazing experiences of Kelly Slater and Lakey Peterson as they take on the challenge of trying to surf blindfolded, as well as Derek learning to paddle board, successfully surfing Pipeline twice, tandem surfing with Rob Machado, and more. The message of perseverance and bravery in the film can easily be coupled with the biblical message that, as believers, we should walk by faith rather than by sight, and trust in the Lord to deliver us.
