Savannah Lynx is not your average pop star. As her name reveals, her feline-like, femme fatale persona is the core of her artistic approach to music, but it isn't the only thing she has going for her. This 20-year-old Fordham University student has both brains and beauty.

"Colors" is Savannah Lynx's first single, and she had a big part in creating the video with director Byron Atienza. In fact, she designed the entire concept. "I really wanted it to be sexy and fun, and I think we accomplished it," she said.

The dance-pop genre has many contributors, but Lynx believes she can contribute something new to the scene. She gets inspiration from many different artists, even Lynyrd Skynyrd, which you might not expect, but one person she really looks up to is Rihanna. "If I met her, I would not know what to say to her because she's the coolest person on earth."

Lynx is truly a go-getter, both in her academic life and with her music career, and she believes that is what will set her apart from the pack.

"There is nobody out there like me right now," Lynx said.

Fashion is one of her passions, she's studying psychology and political science, she has a background in musical theater and she answers the phone, "Meow?" Clearly, she's unique in the music industry, and she's ready to go in full force. When asked where she sees herself in five years she replied, "Besides world takeover?"
