Britney Spears will be going from Planet Hollywood to the Marbella this fall as a guest star on the hit CW show Jane the Virgin. Yesterday (Aug. 11), the "Pretty Girls" singer announced that she'll be joining Gina Rodriguez, Justin Baldoni, Jaime Camil and the rest of the cast in a cameo role.
Spears announced that she'll be showing up on the telenovela-style program this fall on her Twitter, tweeting out to the show's stars that she can't wait to be a guest on one of her "favorite shows EVER."

The show's stars Rodruguez and Camil responded in kind, expressing unparalleled levels of excitement that the pop legend would be gracing the show's set.

Jane the Virgin is no stranger to big name guest stars. In its first season, everyone from Paulina Rubio to Juanes appeared on the dramatic show, which details virgin Jane Villenueva as she is accidentally artificially inseminated and finds herself in the midst of more drama than ever imaginable.
Spears is also familiar with the world of cameos; in the past, she's appeared on Will & Grace and How I Met Your Mother. Of course, Spears also starred in the 2002 film Crossroads. Spears' guest appareance on Jane the Virgin has yet to get an airdate, however the show is set to return to the CW on Monday, Oct. 12.
