Alt rockers Nada Surf announced plans to release Live at the Neptune Theater earlier this week. Recorded during a performance in 2012, the tracks on their new album were originally played in Seattle's iconic theater during one of the band's many North American tour dates.
A response to fans' requests for a new album, Nada Surf's physical live album is set to drop in 2016 as a three-LP vinyl set featuring 21 tracks in addition to a photo booklet, poster, shirt iron-on, and a temporary tattoo appropriately bearing the band's name.
A definite collector's item for fans, Live at the Neptune Theater is the four-piece's second live album and will features songs that span the chronology of their back catalog. All pre-orders for the deluxe box set will have instant access to the digital album, which is available via Pledge Music for $94.58 according to Exclaim. "Clear Eye Clouded Mind," one of the many songs featured on the forthcoming release, is currently available for listeners to stream through Soundcloud and Brooklyn Vegan.
Known for iconic '90s anthems like "Popular" and tracks like "Blonde On Blonde," the New York City outfit continues to keep listeners craving catchy hooks, emotive lyrics, and lush chords.
