Modest Mouse has been treated us to new music for a few months now, ever since announcing their upcoming 2015 record Strangers to Ourselves, which is due to hit shelves on March 17 through Glacial Pace. This week, the indie-rock group premiered "The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box," the latest song off of the 15-track record we're sure you'll be checking out next month. Fans of the band are sure to enjoy this new track, as it mixes that perfect amount of dirty tendencies with hooks and licks that will stick in your head for weeks. Take a listen right here!

RIYL: Talking Heads, Frog Eyes

Some huge news came this week when Blur announced that 2015 would see a brand new release from the iconic British rock/pop group. The Magic Whip hits shelves on April 7, 2015, marking the band's first album in 12 years, since 2003's Think Tank. This week, we heard the first new song from the band in quite some time, "Go On." Watch a bizarre music video for this track right here!

RIYL: Joe Strummer, Arctic Monkeys

Passion Pit will follow up their 2012 album Gossamer with 2015's Kindred, due out April 21 on Colombia Records. This week, we were treated to two new songs from the electronic-pop outfit, "Lifted Up (1985)" and "Where the Sky Hangs." Below, we've shared with you the new video accompanying the latter song, so check it out!

RIYL: Kisses, Gardens & Villas

With new songs debuting each week, you can also expect some cool covers popping up as well. This week, Fiona Apple teamed up with Nickel Creek's Sean Watkins to cover the bluegrass standard "Banks of the Ohio;" Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" got a makeover from CHVRCHES; and Matthew Caws of Nada Surf covered Kevin Devine's "Fiscal Cliff." Plus, Four Tet treated us to a great remix of Coldplay's "Fix You".

Indie-folk artist Waxahatchee sounds like she's leaning more towards indie-rock in 2015 with the upcoming release of April 4's Ivy Tripp. This week, the singer-songwriter debuted her new track "Under a Rock," which sounds more like a '90s alt-rocker's dream come true. Take a listen to this brand new track right here!

RIYL: Sleater Kinney, Courtney Barnett

Southern rockers My Morning Jacket have been busy with their annual One Big Holiday festival in Riviera Maya, Mexico, but that doesn't mean they aren't writing new material. In fact, we've heard at least three new songs off of their two upcoming 2015 albums, two of which debuted in the last week. Check out some live footage of My Morning Jacket performing "Only Memories" and "Compound Fracture" (or just "Compound," we're not sure of the exact title yet) right here!

RIYL: Electric Light Orchestra, Sondre Lerche

METZ are ready to bash in your eardrums with more post-punk tunes when their upcoming album METZ II drops on May 5, via Sub Pop Records. Though you'd think that the group's 2012 self-titled debut album was the loudest they can get, the press release for their sophomore release promises to be "much heavier, darker, and sloppier." Take a listen to their newest track, "Acetate" right here!

RIYL: Greys, Pissed Jeans, Cloud Nothings

This new mixtape should be shared with a buddy going through a rough time. These tracks will help him or her relate to a wide variety of emotions, which is definitely helpful in the long run. Help a buddy out this week with these news songs!
