Garage rock outfit, Shannon and the Clams, recently shared "Its Too Late" off their forthcoming LP, Gone By Dawn, set to release September 11th via Hardly Art. The Oakland based three-piece's latest track is catchy with surf rock undertones while at times, bringing to mind the groups earlier, more lo-fi cuts like "Half Rat" and "You Will Always Bring Me Flowers." With only a few weeks remaining until Gone By The Dawn drops, Shannon and the Clams third studio album was inspired by heartbreak, as detailed by the official press release for the LP: "One member was recovering from a serious breakup and another was deep in one. The lyrics reflect it, and the entire album is dripping with sadness, pain, and introspection."

Admittedly stemming from an emotionally vulnerable place, the follow up to 2013's Dreams In the Rat House will feature thirteen tracks, including "Point of Being Right," which the band recently released a karaoke-esque music video for. The band's latest efforts will keep fans of their earlier LPs captivated while simultaneously expanding their already established fanbase of niche listeners. Known for their collaborative efforts with acts like Hunx & His Punx, Shannon and the Clams' third album will undoubtedly garnish an onslaught of praise from the garage rock world and its critics
