As viewers anticipate the return of FOX's hit show Empire, Columbia Records just shared two new songs off the forthcoming soundtrack to the second season. Fans won't be disappointed by new music from Jussie Smollett featuring Pitbull and Yazz.

Smollett, who stars as Jamal Lyon, teamed up with Pitbull on the uptempo party song titled, “No Doubt About It.” As noted by Rap-Up, the track also features a writing credit from Ne-Yo.

Smollet, once again joined forces with Yazz, his on-screen brother, Hakeem Lyon. Last season, the two collaborated on songs including "No Apologizes," "You're So Beautiful" and "Live in the Moment." The soundtrack of season 2 is due out this fall.

In August, it was announced that Mariah Carey will guest star on Empire this season. Series creator Lee Daniels shared the news while presenting Carey with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Kelly Rowland is set to play Lucious' mother in a flashback scene. Other guest stars include Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Chris Rock. Daniels previously confirmed that he has written roles for dream guest-star, Oprah Winfrey, and Oscar-winner, Common.

As previously reported, Empire season two will expand to 18 episodes from season one's modest 12, structured in two halves with a major cliffhanger between.

According to Nielsen numbers, the season one finale of Empire snagged a 6.5 rating among adults 18–49 and 16.7 million total viewers. The ratings increased 71 percent and 69 percent respectively from the results of the show's debut back on Jan. 7. Empire earned FOX its best new series results in 10 years.

Season 2 of Empire premieres Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
