Taylor Swift is a noted fan of Law and Order: SVU. The "Wildest Dreams" singer has named one of her cats after the show's main character Olivia Benson and has even enlisted SVU star Mariska Hargitay into her girl squad. But, could the pop superstar make a guest appearance on the long-running NBC show? According to Hargitay herself, the answer could be yes!

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hartigay revealed that she and her friend have discussed a guest starring spot on the TV show.

"We talked about it," said Hargitay. "We're going to wait until the end of [The 1989 World] tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air."

Even if Swift can't quite make it on to SVU (she is a very busy woman, after all), Hargitay swooned over her new friend, saying that being in her squad and acting in her "Bad Blood" music video was a great experience.

The best part of going with Taylor and the girls was that they were so supportive, wonderful and fun," she said. "It's a good posse to jump into."

Hopping on to Law and Order: SVU would not be Swift's first foray in to acting. She's previously acted in the films Valentine's Day and The Giver as well as an episode of the FOX sitcom New Girl.

The new season of Law and Order: SVU will begin its run on NBC on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
