Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester and her husband Adam Brody have welcomed their first baby into the world according to Us Weekly. The couple named their new daughter Arlo Day. Meester apparently gave birth on August 4, but the proud parents have remained extremely private about her pregnancy and the rest of their lives.
The 29-year-old actress and The O.C. alum have been married for over a year, after tying the knot in a secret February 2014 wedding. It was later revealed the couple shared their vows in northern California in an intimate ceremony near the ocean. The two have even shared their love of acting on screen together, costarring in the 2011 film, The Oranges, and 2014's Life Partners.
In Reddit's hilarious celebrity question series known as "Ask Me Anything" or "AMA," Brody jokingly told fans about wanting a huge family and explained how he helps Meester around the house. Based on his answers, the couple seems to have a lot of fun together.

"I do some stuff but she definitely does the heavy lifting [figuratively]," Brody said when asked about their home life. "Literally, I do the heavy lifting." When asked how many children the couple plan on having, Brody had this to say, "I say twelve. And I decide!"
The "Somebody to Love" singer and Think Like a Man actor can now join their former cast members in the parenthood club. Meester's Gossip Girl on and off BFF Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds gave birth to daughter James in January, while Brody's ex and former O.C. costar Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen welcomed daughter Briar Rose in October 2014. Maybe there will be play dates in the future?
