Back in August, legendary rapper Snoop Dogg took over the world-renowned Boiler Room decks as DJ Snoopadelic. As if the collision of musical worlds in itself isn't mindblowing enough, the Doggfather's debut set with the underground video-streaming party series took place at a roller disco in LA. As evidenced by the Boiler Room's recap and video, the result is a super-funky roller disco dance party worth checking out.

According to EDM.com, DJ Snoopadelic was joined by DPG's Daz and a friend in a dog suit as he took the Boiler Room back to the golden era of roller disco with a tracklist full of pure funk, boogie, jazz, and soul. While including middle school roller skating party standards from Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock, Snoop Dogg manages to throw in some surprises like "La Bamba." Although more of an MC with an epic playlist than a mixologist, DJ Snoopadelic manages to keep the roller disco vibes on point throughout.

As EDM Tunes points out, DJ Snoopadelic is only one of Snoop Dogg's various side-projects. Earlier this year, we met his Rastafarian alter-ego when he offered his reggae album (that notably features collaborations with Gwen Stefani, among others) for free with any purchase of his vape-pen. This is also not DJ Snoopadelic's first party--in 2014 the rapper made history by becoming the first hip-hop artist with a Las Vegas DJ residency supported by a thematic visual and performance production.

It is safe to say this is not your typical Boiler Room set. When you lace-up your skates and watch DJ Snoopadelic on the ones and twos, you can even catch a dance battle (on skates!) at around 35:09.
