Manchester United are back in form this year, with a nice game set up against underdogs CSKA today - but should we count out the Russian team already? Group B has every team in the same position, which means today holds plenty of weight for the future.
"These back-to-back matches are always crucial; we have to respect our opponents and be aware that we are up against a giant side, but we have the right to hope for a positive result," said CSKA coach Leonid Slutski.
Meanwhile, Louis van Gaal is also focused on today's match instead of Premier League fixtures.
"The most important match now is CSKA Moscow. We have already lost one game against PSV Eindhoven away and we want to gain one point at least. That is why it is a very important match for us. I have said before the game against PSV, also an away match, that one point is good. Three points is better but one point is good," the manager said.
