After waking up from anesthesia after an endoscopy, the popular TV Host Howie Mandel of America's Got Talent and his son filmed his hilarious reaction.
As TMZ reports, Mandel woke up in a daze, with his mouth open and his eyes glazed. Failing to respond for quite a bit of time, he eventually began to speak.
Mandel told the nurse that he was ovulating. He also went on to say he "loves his children" and that his "children are good. I have the best kids," said the proud father and recent patient.
The comedian also facetiously asked if someone stole his necklace.
The filmmaker, Alex Mandel, is also an actor and comedian, and has a popular YouTube channel with over three hundred thousand subscribers. Apparently, he filmed his father as retribution for a video Mandel made when his son had woken up from a procedure as well.
As Inside Addition reports, Mandel also spoke of a series of nonsensical topics after his procedure.
"I'll tell you something... Women make sweaters," he tells his son, before adding: "You know what I thought? Squirrels don't talk. They have so much to say."
Luckily, the procedure went according to plan, as his son tells his viewers. Mandel is recovering well, and utilizing his sharp sense of humor to cope with any residual discomfort.
However, Mandel isn't sure he even had the procedure. "I don't remember the procedure," he told the nurse. "But I believe I had an amazing endoscopy just because I'm positive."
The phenomenon of filming a patient waking up from anesthesia is nothing new on YouTube. Many hilarious videos have shown men an women in a daze, spouting completely nonsensical, hilarious rhetoric. However, few, if any, have featured a celebrity such as Mandel. Those who thought the comedian was funny before will certainly be sure in their opinion after viewing the video.
