Justin Timberlake has already dominated the world of pop music, but could he be looking to make a move in to country? Last week, the "Mirrors" singer wowed the crowd at the Country Music Academy Awards with his "Tennessee Whiskey" and "Drink You Away" performance with Chris Stapleton, and now he is servicing the 20/20 Experience single to country radio.

The Boot reports that Timberlake is riding high off his big night at the CMA Awards with Stapleton by promoting "Drink You Away" to country radio. The original cut of the track retains a sense of soulfulness but is surrounded by electronic music and bombastic guitars.

However, when Timberlake performs the song live, he's backed by a big soul band and gives the song a bit of a Southern treatment. Though it's not a major country song, it's not a far cry from crossover hit potential. Plus, country music fans may be craving the song after Timberlake's high profile duet with Stapleton.

Timberlake may also be looking to make his Southern roots a part of his musical career. According to musician Ronnie Dunn, after the CMA Awards he spoke to Timberlake, who recently bought a plot of land in Nashville. He's moving to Nashville.....already bought land and is building a humble casa shortly. You can take the boy out of the country....can't take the country out of the boy!!!" Dunn wrote about Timberlake's future digs.

Timberlake himself has some country roots - he is a Memphis boy at heart.

"Drink You Away" was released as a part of The 20/20 Experience Part 2 of 2 in September 2013.
