7 Year Bitch have announced their return with the upcoming release of Live at Moe, a live album recorded in 1996 at Moe's Mo'roc'n Cafe in Seattle. With the announcement they shared a free download of first track of the recently uncovered recording, "24,900 Miles Per Hour," which you can grab via their official website. The pioneer punk band also dropped a teaser video which features the song "The Scratch," which you can check out below.

The forthcoming release is the band's first album in twenty years. They split up back in 1997 after a pretty complicated (and heavy) active career. As Diffuser reports, the band broke the two decade-long silence by launching a new website last month, so between that and the fact that we're in the midst of a '90s revival, it was only a matter of time before fans got something like Live at Moe to look forward to.

The new album, produced by Scott Blum, features the line-up of Selene Vigil-Wilk, Elizabeth Davis-Simpson, Valerie Agnew and Roisin Dunne.

As Pitchfork reports, 7 Year Bitch drummer Valerie Agnew talked about the record's release in a statement:

Hearing the tapes was cool as hell. I hadn't really been thinking much about those days and was excited to be reminded of the strength of our performance and pleasantly surprised by the fact that Scott had kept the recordings all these years. It felt like a very cool gift to be given. Putting this record out now feels important because nobody is going to tell our story for us. And because we were not active during the digital age, there is very little accurate info about our band on the internet so this feels like a cool way to document our history.

Live at Moe is due out on red-and-black vinyl (as well as on CD and in digital format, of course) via Moe Recordings on January 15. Check out the full track list below.
