Tis the season to be jolly and this celebrity couple has a lot to be excited about! On Monday (Nov. 23), TV personality Kristin Cavallari and husband Jay Cutler welcomed their third child together, a baby girl named Saylor James. In a recent interview with American Baby, the former MTV star spoke candidly about mothering three children, finally having a daughter, and explained how she keeps her relationship alive with Cutler.

The Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County alum shared an adorable photo of their latest addition to the family on Sunday (Nov. 29) via Instagram. Cavallari and the Chicago Bears quarterback added to the brood of children they parent together, including three-year-old Camden Jack and 18-month-old Jaxon Wyatt.

Although Cavallari handled the drama on her MTV reality shows like a boss, she admits motherhood is a full-time job and the reality of raising an infant can be really tough.

“Having an infant is stressful, and I know I won’t get a lot of sleep initially, but it will be worth it,” Cavallari told American Baby. “Jay and I want our kids to be close in age, so they can have a tight bond. And we’ll get the diaper phase out of the way!”

Little outbursts and managing tantrums also comes with the territory of being a mother. Saylor's mommy recalled a time when her oldest son through the "biggest fit" when she gave him the wrong meal, which then caused her youngest son to start crying.

Cavallari learned the most effective way to handle the situation was to ask him why he was upset and conclude the consoling with a hug. Communication not only played a major role in raising their children, but it also strengthened the relationship between the married couple.

"I'm not ashamed to say that Jay and I consistently go to therapy, because it's been extremely beneficial for our relationship," Cavallari said. "For example, when you're fighting you should never place blame on your partner. You should say how those actions make you feel."

Before Cavallari and the 32-year-old football player introduced their children into the world, they couldn't decide whether to start a family with three or four kids. Now with three, the couple has no plans on adding another one to the bunch any time soon.
