Oakland rapper G-Eazy, real name Gerald Earl Gillum, has released his new album When It's Dark Out to download and stream. The follow up to his major-label debut LP These Things Happen comes with some big-name features from the likes of Chris Brown, Big Sean, E-40, Kehlani, Keyshia Cole and others.

After establishing himself as an internet darling with several high-profile mixtapes and independently released, Gillum took that next step with his major label debut with These Things Happen. Putting himself in the mainstream conscious, he continues to take strides on When It's Dark Out, exploring his inner demons and sharing some very vulnerable and personal moments with his fans. This is all delivered through his flow that is as smooth as his heavily gelled hair.

Coming in at 17 total songs, G-Eazy has shown a remarkable work ethic with a brand new album just 18 months after his debut. This is coming off a heavy touring schedule in support of These Things Happen.

These Things Happen debuted at No. 3 on the charts and with stiff competition this week, it will be interesting to see how he fares against other well-established artists with his strong and very loyal fan base.
