Donald Trump caused quite a stir this week. While the 2016 presidential candidate has been made somewhat infamous for his spiteful comments regarding immigrants, gun control, religious persecution, etc. he has angered quite a few important voting demographics (and sensible Americans). However, the candidate seemed to cross a line yesterday evening when he promised that, as President, he would bar all immigration from Muslim citizens for an unspecified amount of time. The candidate for President, and frontrunner in nearly every poll of Republican contenders" has received a plethora of criticism, yet has predictably refused to apologize for his statements. Among the most interesting, and far-fetched solutions for how to deal with what some term "the Trump problem" comes from Amazon CEO and founder Jeff Bezos. Bezos, in response to Trump's most recent incendiary statements regarding Bezos, Amazon, and the Washington Post, has offered to pay for Trump to travel to space, thus removing him from the contest for President and the media in general.

According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump, as he is wont to do, began a Twitter tirade against the publication, seemingly unprovoked. He directed his ire at Jeff Bezos, who's company, Amazon, he claimed to have owned the newspaper. In fact, Bezos's holding company, Nash Holdings, owns the paper. However, this did not stop "the Donald" from spewing some good, old fashioned vitriolic internet speech.

Trump Tweeted, "The @washingtonpost, which loses a fortune, is owned by @JeffBezos for purposes of keeping taxes down at his no profit company, @amazon." He continued, "The @washingtonpost loses money (a deduction) and gives owner @JeffBezos power to screw public on low taxation of @Amazon! Big tax shelter."

Donald Trump harkens to his policy proposals of ending corporate loopholes and ensuring large corporations pay their fair share.
