Kimberly Wyatt, a member of the Pussycat Dolls, has revealed that she underwent hip replacement surgery two years ago after years of intense dancing, but she is still not fully pain-free as she prepares for the group's reunion tour.

The 44-year-old singer and dancer shared that the physical demands of performing night after night contributed to her condition, along with her experiences as a mother of three children.

She explained that her body carried the impact of long careers of stage work and repeated high-energy routines.

"I've been getting in my ballet moves, my relevés, my pliés, using a pull-up bar every week," Wyatt told The Times as she described how she is preparing for the Pussycat Dolls' 21-city "PCD Forever" tour.

According to People, the group—now consisting of Wyatt, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ashley Roberts—will return to touring for the first time since their 2009 "Doll Domination Tour." They previously planned a comeback in 2019, but those plans were canceled due to the pandemic.

Kimberly Wyatt Says Hip Pain Remains

Wyatt said her recovery has not been simple. Even after surgery, she continues to deal with lingering pain, but she is determined to perform. She also confirmed that her signature leg lift, where she raises her leg up high near her head, will still be part of the show.

"The leg lift is coming [on tour]," she said. "That leg is my legacy."

Despite the challenges, Wyatt said she is focused on making the most of this reunion.

She added that she expects her physical journey may not be over, joking that another hip replacement could happen in the future, GossipHerald reported.

"The future will probably be another hip replacement at some point," she said.

Wyatt reflected on how much the opportunity means to her at this stage of life. She said returning to the stage in her 40s feels more meaningful than it did in her 20s, especially after everything she has gone through personally and physically.

She also acknowledged the history of the Pussycat Dolls, which rose to global fame in the late 2000s with their strong choreography and chart-topping hits.
