Manager Quique Sanchez Flores believes that his Watford squad can make up for their previous loss to City, which ended 2-0 earlier in the season.
"The difference [from the last time they played City] is that we have grown a lot in the last four months," the coach told his team's website. The first time we played against Manchester City they were amazing, they hadn't conceded any goals, they were really positive. They have continued being an amazing team, but we have changed a little bit our mentality. We are now established [in the league] and have the respect of the opponents. We now want more, we are not used to losing, when we lose against Tottenham in the last minute and draw with Chelsea in a tough match, we want more, we are not happy with those situations, it is very good."
Meanwhile, Manuel Pellegrini spoke about the current title race that a ton of teams are currently in.
"We are in a good position. Always the best position is to be top of the table, but I think that this is a special season in the Premier League," he said, according to PremierLeague.com. "Now we are just three points behind the leaders. I hope we are going to compete with a very good second part of the season."
