Donald Trump does not seem particularly affected by his recent appearance in a recruitment video for the Shabab, an Al Qaeda affiliate.

The Republican presidential candidate, whose incendiary remarks about Muslims and other ethnic groups have shocked people around the world, says there's little he can do about the situation, and noted that others were also featured.

"What am I going to do?" Trump asked John Dickerson of CBS News. "I have to say what I have to say. And you know what I have to say? There's a problem."

Trump touted his ability to start a national conversation, and gave himself credit for  taking bold rhetorical stands."Other people call me up and say, 'Look, you have guts to bring it up because frankly, it's true, but nobody wants to get involved,'" he said. "Now people are getting involved. ... Maybe it's not politically correct. There's a big problem out there and we have to solve the problem."

Trump refused to distance himself from statements made earlier this year in which he called for barring all Muslim immigrants until American leaders could "figure out what the hell is going on."

This video comes two weeks after Hillary Clinton claimed the Islamic State had been using Trump in recruitment videos during the Democratic Debate. According to the New York Times, there was no evidence to support this claim. Trump tweeted that Hillary had lied when she claimed the Islamic State made a video featuring his statements. He claimed that all terrorist groups will eventually be making videos with him, as Trump is the current front-runner.
