Fans have been begging Frank Ocean for a bit of news about his new album and they just got a little glimmer of hope. According to a new Tweet, it appears as though the "Lost" rapper is now working with Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid on some new material.

The Tweet includes a picture of both artists facetiming each other. Though it was quickly deleted by Rich The Kid, several fans caught it and retweeted it. The rapper proceeded to retweet some fan notes about the collaboration a little while later.

This is all speculative, but Rich The Kid confirmed the news to Hot New Hip Hop, saying "we recording new music today." He continued, "We are in L.A. I'm here working with Wiz [Khalifa] and I called him [Frank Ocean], he's in the studio."

By the looks of Frank is the picture it would appear as though the crooner has been hard at work writing and recording new music for his Channel Orange follow-up. There is also the important note that Rich The Kid also mentions that Wiz Khalifa is also in the session recording music. This would be interesting development for the LP since there has been no news from Wiz on this front.

So far there has been low chatter from various artists who say they have worked with Ocean like Lil B and SebastiAn.

Nothing is confirmed as to what will eventually make the final album, so these collaborations could be recorded and then never see the light of day if there is something better for the album. Fans are hoping that after a teasing 2015 that the wait will end in 2016 for an album. The waiting game continues.
