Wide receiver Julian Edelman is expected to return from injury today, which QB Tom Brady is excited about.

"I just think the more dependable, consistent players are out there, the better the offense is going to be," he said of the returning player, according to NFL.com. "He's been one of them for as long as he's been here, and depending on what he can do, we'll try to find ways to integrate him. Whoever's out there we have to have confidence in. Like I said, there's no next week so you just got to do whatever you can do to be out on the field, help us win, play your role, do the job coach asks you to do and then try to figure out how to score some points."

Meanwhile, Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson, who was recently announced as the new head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, opened up to reporters about the Patriots' defense.

"Multiple fronts, multiple coverages," he said of his opponents, according to the team's website. "A group that plays well within their scheme. They don't go overboard with anything, they're very confident in what they do. Attack-style, aggressive up front, they have another tremendous front six, front seven guys in there. And they'll mix their fronts. It's a week-by-week gameplan for them."
