Alexandre Pato, the Brazilian footballer currently on loan from Corinthians at São Paulo, has reportedly confirmed the Chelsea FC transfer rumors that have surrounded his name this month. Though the Premier League team has yet to officially announce the news, Pato himself told reporters in London that he's coming to England on loan. No word yet on his actual contract or how long he'll be with the team, but he is definitely excited about the transfer.

"I'm so happy. I stay here for my dream. Chelsea is my new home. Thanks to Chelsea for support. Thanks to my fans for support on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook," he told Sky Sports cameras this week. "I need to play. I don't know what to say because I'm so happy. I'm very anxious [to play] and I want to know my new friends and players in the team. I really want to play in Chelsea."

According to The Guardian, the 26-year-old, who has not been seen on the pitch, is set to undergo a medical evaluation this week.

Pato joining the team could affect other players like Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao, since they all share the striker position. We do know that whichever player stays will remain the substitute for star player Diego Costa.
