Taryn Manning has been accused of attacking her makeup artist, Holly Hartman, and the artist has filed a restraining order against her. According to TMZ, the Orange is the New Black actress sprayed windex in Hartman's eyes and headbutted her. While attacking Hartman, Manning reportedly yelled, "Pick a knife. I'm wearing a white shirt there will be a lot of blood. You will be famous for killing Taryn Manning."
"The court has already denied the request by Ms. Hartman for a temporary restraining order," Manning's lawyers stated to Us. "The application for the order is suspect because Ms. Manning has had no contact with Ms. Hartman in many months due to Ms. Hartman's actions against Ms. Manning which are currently under criminal investigation in multiple jurisdictions." The lawyers went on to say that the allegations are being investigated and that Hartman has been stalking Manning as well as stealing from her.
Manning and Hartman have been friends for years, but these are not the first allegations to come out against Manning. Back in 2012, she was charged with misdemeanor assault. According to Complex, she attacked the makeup artist at the Dream Downtown Hotel in NYC. The actress grabbed Hartman by her throat and kicked her. Those charges were dropped though.
Manning has made some statements via her Twitter account since the news has been released. But the statements seem to be positive and she has not consented to any of the allegations. Though the allegations seem like they can be true because of Manning and Hartman's history, they can also be a ploy to get attention since Manning is currently working on the next season of Orange is the New Black.
