Well, everyone loves pizza, but unfortunately, not everyone loves Pizza Underground.

During a recent performance at the Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham, England, Pizza Underground – Macaulay Culkin's bizarrely titled Velvet Underground cover band – took to the stage and were served some rather unfortunate feedback from the crowd in the form of boos and tossed beer cans.

Even though the band was able to deliver some of their sarcastic parodies of famed Velvet Underground tunes, such as "It's a Pizza Day," – a comedic take on Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" – the crowd, surprisingly, was not onboard.

Despite his attempts to warm up the crowd, joking, "Why are you throwing those? I'd rather drink them," Culkin opted to cut the set short and call it quits after a mere 15 minutes. And while security was able to snag a few of the pizza no-lovers as they began tossing cans, it wasn't enough for the former Home Alone actor, who, after being hit several times, took his band and disappeared from the stage.

It wasn't the band's first performance at the Dot to Dot Festival; they had already played a number of other shows as part of the event around the United Kingdom. Festival directors were quoted saying, "After barnstorming sets at both Dot To Dot Manchester and Dot To Dot Bristol, it's such a shame that some members of the crowd had to ruin what was set to be an excellent show. A sentiment echoed by the band themselves."
