Angaleena Presley, AKA "Holler Annie" of the Pistol Annies, is ready to show the world who she truly is as an artist with the release of her first solo album.

According to CMT News, the album, which is till untitled, will be released in the fall.

From CMT's reports, it's clear that Presley has been very hands on with the project. She wrote and recorded the music in addition to producing the album and serving as the art director.

Presley's album will be released on Slate Creek Records.

"Part of what I loved about Garth Fundis and Jim Burnett at Slate Creek is that they understood where I wanted to go creatively," Presley said. "Producing this album was important to me because of its content. I've lived every word of it and knew exactly how I wanted it to sound."

Fundis, president and creative director of Slate Creek, seems excited to be working with Presley.

"We could not be happier about Angaleena joining our Slate Creek team and giving us the opportunity to release her remarkable solo debut," Fundis said. "From the first listen, we knew we wanted to be a part of this and can hardly wait for others to hear what she has created. Angaleena is both poet and artist in the truest sense of those words."

As Presley is excited about embarking on a solo career, she is also up for a win with her Pistol Annies bandmates.

The trio is nominated for the 2014 CMT Music Awards in the category of best collaborative video.

Angaleena Presley is also one of CMT's Next Women of Country.
