Norwegian electronic music duo, Lemaitre have unveiled the first visual from their recent, 5-track EP 1749. They have taken the first single and the second track on the ep "Stepping Stone" featuring the vocals of female singer, songwriter Mark Johns.

The video starts out pretty innocuously focusing on the male protagonist who is out at a house party, being rowdy and just trying to have a good time. He is clearly getting after it quite hard and is drinking heavily, attempting to hook up with girls who want nothing to do with him. He gets kicked out and starts to wander the streets of Los Angeles aimlessly through the night, scaring off some girls at a gas station in the process.

The night turns into day during his walking and he passes out in a car of some kind individual who gives him a ride somewhere closer to his home. He gets mixed up in an open church service and after disrupting the service gets kicked out of a second building in the span of a couple hours. The guy eventually calls it a night / morning and passes out in his bed.

Speaking to Earmilk, the group explains the concept behind the video and how it is loosely based on someone they knows real life experiences.

"This video is a depiction of one of Joe's (our in house director Johannes Greve Muskat) nights out in LA. He tends to wander off when he gets too drunk and this video is an example of what can happen as a result."

Lemaitre released their new EP 1749 last month. The 5-track project features the likes of Giraffage, Jennie A and Mark Johns.
