Snakehips are still riding high on their viral hit "All My Friends" with Chance The Rapper and Tinashe and are ready to capitalize on that momentum with a new single "Money On Me" featuring one of the hottest names in music right now Anderson .Paak.
The soothing new single showcases the best of Snakehips' airy and soothing R&B and trap-influenced production, fitting with the talents of their selected vocalist. .Paak is the perfect complement to the crisp snare rolls, guitar plucks and soft warbling synths by the UK production duo.
.Paak sings about a good time in the hook with some booze, something to smoke and working on a good one, saying "I woke up on a good one, came up on a good one / I'm working on a good one, working on a good one / A good one, put the money on me / Smoking on a good one, drinking on a good one / I came up on a good one, working on a good one / A good one, put the money on me."
At just three minutes, the track is teasingly short with two short verses and two hooks with a longish outro from Snakehips. This could have the legs to become as big as "All My Friends."
The track was crafted during a session last year with the three artists in Los Angeles. No word on when it will be released, but stay tuned.
