After losing her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith to a drug overdose on July 13, "GLEE" star Lea Michele has returned to the recording studio. According to the singer/actress' Twitter account, she's getting things started on a good note.

"Thank you @alxanders & @AdamAnders for a great recording session today.. You guys are the best," she tweeted. "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with."

In photos from People, Michele was spotted leaving the recording studio wearing her "Cory" necklace in remembrance of the man who she wrote would "forever be in my heart."

Just a little over three weeks after Monteith's death, Michele seems to be slowly recovering and returning to work, according to her Twitter. On Aug. 1, the star remarked how happy she was to be returning to the "GLEE" set and getting back in to her Rachel Berry costume.

First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much❤

Michele is not the only "GLEE" star in healing. Monteith's co-stars from Jane Lynch to Naya Rivera to Darren Criss and Matthew Morrison have all spoken out about Monteith's life and the healing process.

"GLEE" is back in production after a few weeks' delay following the Finn Hudson actor's sudden, shocking death. The FOX musical dramady pushed back the show's filming schedule and premiere date, in an announcement made on July 19. The show's new season will begin airing on Sept. 26, one week later than originally scheduled.

The program will begin with two Beatles-themed episodes, followed by a third episode, which will write off Monteith's character while directly dealing with his drug problems and death.
