Looks like Katy Perry isn't the only artist to recently get slapped with a copyright lawsuit.

Kendrick Lamar is the latest to land in trouble for improper sampling on "Keisha's Song (Her Pain)."

The song is featured on 2012's Section.80.

According to Vibe, U.K. company Woolfsongs Limited, which manages works from Eric Woolfson and his music group, The Alan Parsons Project, filed a lawsuit claiming that the group's song "Old and Wise" was illegally sampled.

Billboard reports that the plaintiff's attempt to find a resolution of the matter with Lamar's rep was to no avail.

The attempt was made back in April 2014 but the complaint says no settlement resulted and the defendants became unresponsive.

While the Lamar lawsuit aims for an award of compensatory damages, the suit against Perry seeks profits and statutory damages.

As previously reported, Perry is being sued by Christian rap group Flame who claims the pop star ripped off their track "Joyful Noise" for her third Prism single "Dark Horse."

The group claims that Perry is using their beat to promote witchcraft and paganism.

Flame says "Joyful Noise" has been "irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in 'Dark Horse.'"

Both lawsuits demand an injunction.

Stay tuned to see how things pan out for the two young musicians.
