SnowGlobe Music Festival has announced its 2016 lineup. Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, Odesza and Flume are listed among the headliners.
The New Year's Eve festival is a rarity because it takes place outside. It is situated in the skiing resort town of South Lake Tahoe on the Nevada, California border.
Other artists who will perform at the predominantly EDM festival include RL Grime, Lido, Snails, Illenium, Big Gigantic, Party Favor, Justin Jay and Hotel Garuda.
Within electronic music there will be a contingent of acts that will do their best to warm up the crowd with their summery tunes. Among those with that task include Rufus Du Sol, Classixx, The Knocks and Poolside.
The lineup isn't all electronic acts though. There are a few rappers on the bill like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty and D.R.A.M.
In its sixth year, Snowglobe will take place from Dec. 29-31. Who will usher in the New Year has not been announced, but Flume had that honor in 2014. The festival promises expanded grounds with the same capacity with more features and art installations for attendees to explore. There will be after parties announced soon.
Tickets are still available on the festival's website. Check out the complete lineup below.
