In a room full of artists and performers, there's no doubt that Jay-Z was the most recognizable face. The rapper had assembled a crowd of artists to a gallery in Chelsea to watch as he shot a music video for single "Picasso Baby." Someone there needed a little bit more attention however, or was just feeling a little too arty for security's comfort. Jemima Kirke, an actress in the HBO program "Girls," was removed after literally jumping all over the rapper.

Those present took turns sitting on a bench and being rapped to by Jay during the seven hour shoot. When Kirke sat at the bench and took her verse, she grinned mischievously and let down her hair. When the rapper turned away, the actress leapt up and grabbed him from behind in a giant hug. Hov was reportedly not phased, and continued his routine. Kirke then jumped up so Jay was forced to carry her piggyback style as he rapped. The rapper never complained but security still saw fit to grab Kirke and drag her "kicking and screaming" away from the scene. Still, she made the final cut.

Kirke is an painter aside from being an actress, and she's had some dramatic reactions to performance art before. When she attended an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art where performance artist Marina Abramovic sat still and stared at viewers for 700 hours, Kirke wept openly while sitting across from the artist. (Abramovic was present at Jay's shoot as well).

Kirke's "Girls" cast mate Lena Dunham took humor in coverage of the event.

"This is the craziest and bull-s------t thing I've ever read, even though nothing would make me prouder," she tweeted.
