Angelo James Konecki, son of England's own Adele, has just won the case against Corbis Images UK. As part of the ruling, the 1-year-old has been awarded five figures, BBC News reports.

The case came after the paparazzi photographed the singer and her newborn son during some of their "private moments" back in June and November of 2013. While the lovely newborn was undeniably someone a few people wanted to look at – given the fact that it was world news  apparently Adele wasn't too thrilled.

Actually, the "Rumor Has It" singer has made her feelings about Angelo being off-limits to the paparazzi publicly known since his birth –– saying she never wanted him to be "public property."

Following the ruling, Adele's lawyer, Jenny Afia, stated, "It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family's wishes."

She added, "These images were taken during private, recreational time unconnected with professional or public engagements. They represent a clear infringement of our client's right to privacy."

In addition to the hefty sum, Corbis Images UK has agreed to never again sell the photographs. The money will go into a trust fund for Angelo, who turns two this coming October.
