Mariah Carey hilariously watches and reacts to some of her fans singing her hit songs on YouTube.

The clip was recorded as part of one publication's "You Sang My Song" installment.

Mariah Carey Listens To Her Songs' Cover Version

The almost 12-minute video opens with a throwback clip of Carey singing her hit song "Hero." A few seconds later, her male fan records the same song. The award-winning singer smiles while listening to her fan.

She calls his rendition nice and amazing. Carey also said that she loved the key that was used in the recording.

"I loved the rendition of 'Hero.' Really good. Thank you so much for singing my song," said Carey.

After three days, the fan learns that Carey listened to his cover of "Hero," and he is so surprised. Stephen Scaccia could not believe that Carey even called him by his first name.

Carey's two female fans were next to perform her hit song, "Always Be My Baby." Before saying anything about their singing chops, Carey first commented on the beautiful hotel room that they recorded her song in.

"I think it was really nice how they were harmonizing and how they did a stripped-down acoustic version of the song. Your voices sounded beautiful. So beautiful in tandem with each other. And it was really nice," complimented Carey.

The singer also shares that she became a tad bit emotional while singing to the song because she remembered her twins. Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon love singing "Always Be My Baby" with their mom on stage.

Fans' Reactions

When Madi Proz and Dayna Bloom learned that Carey listened to their rendition, they both freaked out like Scaccia. Proz notes that when they uploaded the video, she did not really think that anyone would notice it. However, she is shocked that even Carey had the chance to watch it.

"We Belong Together" is the third Carey song that is featured in the video. Upon hearing the fan's version, Carey exclaimed yes and told the people behind the segment that she might need a copy of the fan's recording.

I really loved the interpretation that you did. It was really nice," said Carey.

Other Carey songs featured in "You Sang My Song" are "Touch Your Body," "Heartbreaker," "My All," and more.

In related news, Carey is revealed to be one of the celebrities that listen to their own songs on a regular basis.

While giving birth to her twins, she asked her ex-husband, Nick Cannon, to play her tracks inside the delivery room.
