Third Eye Blind will include covers of Bon Iver, Queens of the Stone Age, Babyshambles, and more songs on its upcoming EP.

Thanks For Everything will be released on Aug. 24.

Other covers by Third Eye Blind will include Santigold, Chastity Belt, Happy Diving, and Tim Buckley. Thanks For Everything will also include Iver's hit song "Blood Bank." The band also dropped its cover of Babyshambles' original track "Fuck Forever."

The band members explained why they decided to release a non-original track album for their fans. They said that they were inspired when they visited museums and galleries while they were on tour. Proceeds from Thanks For Everything will be donated to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Preorder for the album is now available via iTunes.

Third Eye Blind Career

Third Eye Blind is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1993. Three years later, Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major label recording contract with Elektra Records. A year later, Third Eye Blind released its first album. Following the release of the band's second album, Blue, Cadogan was released from the band due to some controversies.

Several years later, the band dropped Out of the Vein and Ursa Major. The band's current lineup, which consists of Jenkins, Kryz Reid, Alex Kopp, and Alex LeCavalier was the one that released the fifth album Dopamine in 2015. In 2016, the same lineup released We Are Drugs.

Some of Third Eye Blind's most popular songs are "Semi-Charmed Life," "How's It Going To Be," "Jumper," "Never Let You Go," "Losing A Whole Year," "Deep Inside Of You," "Motorcycle Drive By," "10 Days Late," "God Of Wine," "Crystal Baller," "Everything Is Easy," and "Blinded."

Stephan Jenkins Talks About The Band 20 Years Later

Last year, Jenkins talked about the band 20 years after its inception and what things have been like since then.

"What is that like? I really only have one kind of revelation, and I'm afraid that it might sound kind of... simplistic. So much of that first record for me just came out of always feeling on the outside, being a misfit, and it really took me years to realize that I was the inside, I was the scene. I realized that wasn't necessary at all. There's only feeling whole within yourself, there's really no exterior place of belonging, that's it," said Jenkins.
