2 Chainz plans to save Pink Trap House in Atlanta after he learned that its owner is planning on demolishing the property.

The rapper launched a campaign to help save the "Eiffel Tower of Atlanta." On Wednesday, the 40-year-old was interviewed about his plans to save the Pink Trap House.

"I don't think they would knock down the Statue of Liberty. We changed the connotation of trap house from something negative to something that was considered positive. We held church services, art activities, AIDS testing, and all of that," said 2 Chainz.

2 Chainz's Connection With Pink Trap House

The rapper said that he has no idea why the owner of Pink Trap House wants to take it down. Instead of focusing on the fact that it might be demolished, 2 Chainz said that he wants to center his attention on something positive.

He also gave a shout-out to Keisha Bottoms, the mayor of Atlanta. He said that the two of them may help save Pink Trap House.

According to Billboard, Bottoms may heed 2 Chainz's plea because the rapper previously used an alternate version of Pink Trap House during last year's Pretty Girls Like Trap Music tour as a prop on stage. 2 Chainz also recorded the music video for "Door Swangin" inside Pink Trap House.
