As quarantine is now in place, Instagram battles are now becoming more common. One of them is the Instagram battles.

Producers Scott Storch and Mannie Fresh are the latest producers who participated in an Instagram Live battle series by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz according to the article of Genius. Storch is supposed to face T-Pain but instead Fresh was the one who replaced T-Pain as Storch's rival last April 1. On their Instagram accounts, they challenged themselves. Marnie also taunted Storch before the challenge.

"It's a sad day all around the world. Today I got to pick out a casket for my homeboy Scott Storch," he said in his Instagram video "He just made that one dumb decision. He went against Mannie Fresh. Damn Scott, what was (sic) you thinking?" He said this after Scott challenged Mannie also on Instagram.

Swizz said in his Instagram account that although T-Pain was a producer, it makes more sense for him to participate in the "battle." The producers will go presenting their classic hits they produced and they will do it withing 20 rounds

In his Tweet, T-Pain said he did not back out of the competition.

About Scott Storch

Scott Storch was born on December 16, 1973 in Long Island, New York. He is a three-time nominee in Grammys for his work with artists like 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, and The Roots. He got is first nomination in 1999 for Best Rap Album with The Roots where he started his career as a keyboardist for the band. In 2003, he was nominated for Album of the Year for "Justified", Justin Timberlake's album. This also marked his solo career as a producer. In 2005, he was again nominated for the single "Candy Shop" of 50 Cent for Best Rap Song.

He also worked for many big names in music industry. He made hit singles for DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, and French Montana. In 2003, Storch also produced music videos for Beyonce. Some of her singles produced by Storch are "Bad Boy", "Dangerously In Love", and "Naughty Girl."

In mid-2000s, he was addicted to cocaine. The addiction took toll on his career and led him to declare bankruptcy. In 2014, he made a comeback and admitted in an interview with Billboard that he needs to be humble.

He also planned to put his own music and is currently working with his EDM EP as part of his comeback. He still produced for music artists. "It kind of came and went. I've adapted to different production techniques since then," he said in the Billboard 2017 interview. "I had to explore what's out there in the world because I've been doing the same thing for so long, but the EDM thing, I just feel like I don't want to be on the road DJing," he added.

He is married to Christina Gray in 2011 and have two children.

Mannie Fresh was born on March 20, 1969 in New Orleans Louisiana and goes by real name Byron Otto Thomas. He started his career in the 1980s when he teamed up with Gregory D for their joint album, "Throwdown" in 1987. His biggest break was when he produced some of the songs like Lil Wayne's "Tha Block is Hot" and Juvenile's "400 Degreez", among others.

Aside from being a producer for Cash Money, Mannie Fresh became popular as one-half of the Big Tymers, as recorded other hit singles alongside Birdman. "Get Your Roll On" is among the duo's popular songs.
